An independent home for the day-2 gap

Kodbe helps non-technical builders own the software they made with AI and no-code tools. We take no tool's side, so we can tell you the truth.

Get started: Read our editorial policy

In plain English

Kodbe is an independent, commercial publication about maintaining and owning software you built with AI or no-code tools. We are vendor-neutral, we cite our sources, and for the highest-stakes topics we tell you when to bring in a professional.

Why Kodbe exists

A new wave of people ship real apps with AI coding and no-code tools without writing much code themselves. Then reality sets in: the app breaks, it might be insecure, it cannot be easily changed, and it is not clear who actually owns it. This "day-2" moment is where most people get stuck.

Almost no one serves it well. Learn-to-code schools teach you to build from scratch, course sellers move on to the next launch, and tool vendors have a stake in what you choose. Kodbe fills the gap with calm, practical, product-neutral help you can act on.

How we work

  • Independent by design: we own no tool, host, or platform, so we can say "skip it" or "hire a professional" without a conflict.
  • Documentation-based: tool facts come from official docs and changelogs. We do not invent hands-on testing, benchmarks, or prices.
  • AI-assisted, not AI-sourced: AI may help draft, but security, payment, and legal points must trace to current official documentation, and we never give case-specific assurances.
  • Correctable: tool comparisons carry a last-reviewed date, and we fix mistakes when they are found.
  • Safety-first: security guidance helps you detect and reduce risk, never exploit it, and always points to a professional for payments, logins, and personal data.

Who we serve

  • Adult, non-technical and semi-technical builders who already shipped an app
  • People maintaining software they did not personally write from scratch
  • Readers who want honesty over hype and are tired of tool-vendor spin

About Kodbe FAQ

Who runs Kodbe?

An independent editorial team focused on the day-2 gap. We do not invent celebrity authors or fake credentials; we let the usefulness and sourcing of the work speak for itself. We do not claim outside expert review; where a topic needs a professional, we say so.

Are you the nonprofit Kodbe Inc?

No. We are an independent commercial publication with no connection to Kodbe Inc, Kodobe, Kodable, or Kodu.

How do you make money?

Today, Kodbe sells nothing and carries no affiliate links or sponsorship. If that changes, it will be through disclosed affiliate links, our own clearly labeled resources, or labeled sponsorship, and a recommendation will never be determined by payout. See our disclosure.

Do you test the tools you write about?

We review official documentation and changelogs and label our method as such. We do not fabricate hands-on testing, benchmarks, ratings, or prices.

Is it safe to follow your security advice?

Our security content is detection-first and conservative. It helps you find and reduce risk and always tells you when to get an independent professional review.

How do I suggest a correction?
